This course takes place every week from Monday to Friday from 13:30h to 17:45h. The teaching material for your German course can be purchased directly on site at the school. The price depends on the level and costs around 25 EUR for approximately every four weeks.

The school can offer a shuttle service from the airport to your accommodation for 150 EUR each way. If you are interested in this option, please ask us.

We recommend you to use public transport because it is cheaper and easier to use. For example:
- from Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel airport you can take a TAXI. Alternatively you can use the S1 train, which runs every 10 minutes during the day or every 20 minutes at night (last train at 00:14h).
- From Hamburg-Lübeck airport the best option is the Shuttle bus.

*Host family
- The host families live all over Hamburg. The travel time (including walking) to the school is between 20 - 45 minutes.
- Single room with bed, table, chair and wardrobe.
- Bed linen and towels are provided.
- Washing machine is available.
- Half board: to choose between breakfast and lunch or breakfast and dinner.
- In case of host families with a self-catering option or breakfast only, it is possible to use the family's kitchen
- Arrival day: Sunday
- Departure day: Saturday
- Extra nights on request

*Residence
- Accommodation directly in the school building.
- Arrival and departure just on Fridays.
- Check-in: between 12:00 and 18:00.
- Check-out : 10:00 (students can leave their suitcases in the school office).
- Cleaning service included
- A double or triple room can also be booked by single travelers. The school then looks for roommates of the same gender and, if possible, the same age.
- Minimum stay: 4 weeks.
- Minimum age: 18 years old.

*Shared apartment or "Wohngemeinschaft":
- Typically German type of accommodation
- Your roommates can be people of any age: Students, families, retirees...
- You share the bathroom and kitchen with the roommates.
- Bed linen and towels are provided.
- Minimum stay: 4 weeks.
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- Arrival day: Sunday
- Departure day: Saturday

*Studio

- Available for students between 18 and 35 years old.
- Deposit on arrival : 300 EUR on arrival. This amount will be refunded after your stay.
- Private bathroom.
- Self-Catering (Cooking facilities).
- Bed linen and towels are provided.
- Wifi and a bicycle parking space are available
- Minimum stay: 4 weeks (booking only possible for a stay of 4-week blocks)
- Arrival takes place on Saturdays between 10:00 and 15:00
- Check-out is by 10:00 a.m. on Fridays (students can leave their suitcases in the school office) .

*Shared appartment:
- Minimum stay: 4 weeks.
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Typical/Common accommodation in Germany ("Wohngemeinschaft").
- Your roommates can be of any age: students, families, retired people...
- You share the bathroom and kitchen with your roommates.
- From Sunday to Saturday
- Bed linen and towels provided
- A deposit will certainly be required on arrival, which will be refunded at the end of your stay if the room is returned in good condition.

*Hotels
The school can also arrange accommodation at the Hotel Garni, which is located in the building next to the school, or at the Hotel Baseler Hof (2 minutes walk). Please contact us for more information.

Starting dates for real beginners 2024 (General German Courses):

January 2, February 5, March 4, April 2, May 6, June 3, July 1, July 15, August 5, August 19, September 2, September 30, November 4, December 2.
Students with prior knowledge can start on any Monday .

The school will be closed on public holidays. Individual lessons will be made up on another day .

The school also offers exam preparation courses : TELC A1-C1 exams. The school is an authorized test center for the TELC A1-C1 exams.

The language school is closed during Christmas holidays and New Years Eve.

A placement test is always taken at the beginning of every course to assure the optimal level of learning is assessed.
According to the type of course a certificate will be issued.
