Junior Program: intensive course in family accomm. with leisure activities

Summer language course in Berlin with homestay accommodation (double room, full board - 3 meals) for young people from 14 to 17!
It takes place between June 20 and July 31, 2021. You can book a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 6. The last day of class is July 31, 2021.
*The price includes:
- 24 group German lessons.
- Family accommodation in a double room.
- Full board (3 meals), which begins with dinner on the day of arrival and ends with breakfast on the day of departure.
- Placement level test.
- Attendance end level certificate.
- Teaching materials.
- Ticket for local public transport.
- 5 Activities during the afternoons (Monday to Friday).
- Full day excursions on Saturdays (except the day of departure).
Check-in takes place on Sundays between 12h00 and 20h00 and check-out on Saturdays between 8h00 and 12h00.
Families usually live between 25 and 60 minutes from the school by public transport.
If a student wants to stay in a single room, they can pay an additional supplement of 100 EUR per week (not included in the offer). An additional night costs EUR 75.
Some examples of leisure activities and excursions are: Sea Life, Berlin City Hall, Technisches Museum, Berlin Cathedral, Potsdam, Wolfsburg, Berlin Wall, Zoo, Brandenburg Gate, Charlottenburg Castle, Dresden, sports, etc. Teaching material costs approximately 20 EUR per month and has to be purchased directly from the school.
In class, textbooks from the main publishers are used, aimed at teaching the German language in a communicative way, structured thematically and complemented by listening materials on CD.
The school offers a shuttle service from the airport or train station to the accommodation which costs 95 EUR for adult students. If you arrive before 08h00 or after 20h00, you must pay an additional supplement.
For students who participate in a Junior Program, the value of this service is:
- Airport: 75 EUR (one way)
- Train station: 50 EUR (one way)
* Arrival (Sunday) / departure (Saturday) between 08h00 and 20h00.
- Surcharge for arrival outside these hours: 35 EUR.
- Surcharge for the service of unaccompanied minors: 35 EUR.
Adult students can stay both in host families and in residences or apartments, ask us.
* Host family:
- Accommodation is from Sunday to Saturday.
- Double rooms can only be booked by students traveling together and taking a German course at the school.
- During the summer (from July 3 to August 20, 2022) and in the winter (from December 25 to 31, 2022) an additional supplement must be paid (already calculated in the offer).
- Extra nights can be reserved, upon request and availability.
* Youth hotel:
- You must be at least 18 years old to book this accommodation.
- Check-in (arrival): Sunday from 15h00
- Check-out (departure): Saturday before 11h00
- The single rooms have a bathroom.
- Double rooms can only be booked by students traveling together and taking a German course at the school.
- Breakfast included.
- It is located in a quiet street, just a 10-minute walk from Berlin HBF central station.
- Roof terrace with views of the nearby district.
- 20 minutes by public transport from the school.
- Supplement in high season (from July 3 to August 20, 2022), already included in the offer.
- Cleaning service included.
- Wifi.
- Laundry service available for an additional fee.
- Towels and bed linen are provided.
- Bicycle rental available for a fee.
- Depending on availability, it is possible to book extra nights (55,00 EUR per night for a single room and 45,00 EUR per person per night for a double room).
* Home:
- You must be at least 18 years old to book this accommodation.
- Single room with bathroom and kitchenette with microwave, hob, fridge and crockery.
- Check-in (arrival): Sunday between 14h00 and 18h00
- Check-out (departure): Saturday between 08h00 and 12h00
- Central location in the west of the city and directly on the Spree.
- There are supermarkets, restaurants and bars nearby.
- The building has a roof terrace and common areas with TV.
- 30 minutes by public transport from the school.
- Service fee: 150 EUR.
- Supplement for high season (from July 3 to August 20, 2022), already included in the offer.
- Wifi.
- Cleaning service not included, but can be reserved for 50,00 EUR per cleaning.
- Bed linen and towels are provided.
- Laundry service available for an additional fee.
- Deposit: 200 EUR (to be paid when making the reservation).
You can start your German course any Monday if you already have previous knowledge of the language.
Absolute beginners can start on the following dates during 2022: January 3, February 7, March 7, April 4, May 2, June 7 (Tuesday), July 4, August 1, September, October 4 (Tuesday) and November 7.
During the summer (July 4 to August 19, 2022) there is a high season supplement, already included in the offer.
The school is closed on public holidays and during Christmas and New Years. Classes are not recovered or refunded.
The school also offers the following courses:
- The possibility of doing an unpaid internship/practice while doing a German course that lasts at least 6 weeks. The registration fee for this program is 600 EUR.
- One hour private class costs EUR 50 (at least two private classes must be booked).
