Intensive Course

This course consists of 20 general lessons + 5 workshop lessons, all of which are group lessons. In addition, oriented personal study time is added to complete the total of 30 lessons. The didactic material is included in the course price.
The school offers a transfer service from the airport to your accommodation, which costs:
- 50 EUR per student each way
- 55 EUR if 2 students travel together and make the same trip = 27,50 EUR/person
* Family accommodation:
- Breakfast is included and the kitchen cannot be used.
- Washing machine cannot be used.
- Weekly change of bed linen and towels.
- An extra night costs 35 EUR.
- Some of the families are within walking distance. However, in case you have to use public transportation, the families are at most 20 minutes away from the school.
- Check-in (arrival): Sunday.
- Check-out (departure): Saturday.
* Shared apartment:
- There is an additional supplement of 40 EUR for accommodation search.
- You must pay a refundable deposit of 100 EUR (in cash), which is returned once the apartment is handed over in good condition.
- It is located approximately 15 minutes from the school.
- There are 7 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms per apartment.
- The apartments are on the third and fourth floor, and there is no elevator.
- The kitchen is shared.
- There is a common room with a TV.
- WiFi.
- Bed linen and towels are provided.
- Weekly cleaning and change of sheets and towels.
- During the summer, the school rents additional apartments that have similar conditions and can be 30 minutes away from the school using public transportation.
- Check-in (arrival): Sunday.
- Check-out: Saturday.
* Student residence:
- Can only be booked in July and August.
- You must stay a minimum of 2 weeks.
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- There is an additional 40 EUR accommodation search fee.
- You must pay a refundable deposit of 100 EUR (in cash), which is returned once you hand over the accommodation in good condition.
- It is a 10 minute walk from the school.
- The bathroom is shared (approximately 2 bathrooms for every 3 persons).
- Bed linen and towels are provided.
- It has only single rooms.
- WiFi is available in all rooms.
- Weekly cleaning and change of sheets and towels.
- There is a common room with TV and pool table.
- The building has laundry facilities (for a fee).
- There is a terrace.
- Check-in (arrival): Sunday.
- Check-out (departure): Saturday.
If you already have some knowledge of Portuguese you can start any Monday.
If you have no knowledge of Portuguese (A0) the school has specific dates for you to start. These are the starting dates in 2022: January 3, 17 and 31, February 14 and 28, March 14 and 28, April 11 and 25, May 9 and 23, June 6 and 20, July 4 and 18, August 1, 16 (Tuesday) and 29, September 12 and 26, October 10 and 24, November 7 and 21, December 5 and 12.
If you are already planning to travel in 2023, these are the starting dates: January 2, 9 and 23, February 6 and 20, March 6 and 20, April 3 and 17, May 2, 15 and 29, June 12 and 26, July 10 and 24, August 7 and 21, September 4 and 18, October 2, 16 and 30, November 13 and 27, December 11.
The school offers special programs during Easter and Christmas.
- Easter: 2 weeks starting April 3, 2023.
- Christmas: 2 weeks starting December 20, 2022 and December 18, 2023.
The school offers an internship program. In the case of the Portuguese course the value is the same, the internship search has a value of 600 EUR plus the price of the insurance.
The school also offers Portuguese courses for specific purposes or Brazilian Portuguese through private lessons. The value of this type of course is the same as a normal private lesson.
The school is closed on holidays and classes are not made up or refunded. Only private classes are made up.
If there are not enough students for a language level, group classes will be replaced on a pro-rata basis by individual classes.
During the summer, lessons can be held in a second building just a few blocks away at Av. da República, 14.
